Dear guests,

We would like to welcome you to the Michaelishof, our family-owned hotel which has existed for more than 150 years. We hope that we have fitted out this historic house to your satisfaction so that you feel very comfortable.

The foundation walls of this house were set up on gigantic field stones in 1835. With stables, space for coaches and plenty of accommodation, the house soon became a local centre for trade and the village's post office. Travellers liked to spend the evening in the old guestroom with its great tiled stove, to smoke a pipe and discuss the most interesting news from around the world.

Nowadays, we use this comfortable, atmospheric room for small family parties. We built our guesthouse some years ago; it is situated in a quiet location and all the rooms are en suite with colour TV and telephone.
For the demanding guest, we have enlarged our hotel with comfort rooms and exclusive suites with whirlpool.

  



We do our best to keep the old romance, such as the beautiful oak and chestnut trees on our courtyard, some of which are more than 140 years old.
